King Abdulaziz University Scholarship Details

King Abdulaziz University carries the name of the establisher of Saudi Arabia – God bless him. This university was established in 1387 H/1967 G as a national university aiming at spreading higher education in the western area of Saudi Arabia. This dream has come true through the continuous efforts of the loyal citizens of this country.
The members of the initiating committee had the chance to meet King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz – God bless him – and His Majesty showed all support for this idea. The establishing committee was formed and headed by King Faisal – God bless him and his highness the Minister of Education at that time Sheikh Hasan Bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh.

Scholarship Requirements

• The Applicant’s Age Doesn’t Exceed (35) Years for Ph.D. And (30) Years for Masters and 25 Years for Bachelors Degree.
• The Applicant Must Have a University Degree From an Accredited College or University and Should Have a Degree With “Very Good” at Least.

For Masters and Ph.D. Degree: An Approved Exam in English Has Required for an Applicant Whose First Language is Not English. The Approved Exams and Minimum Required Scores Are Listed Below:

1. TOEFL (PBT)=500
2. TOEFL (CBT)=173
3. TOEFL (IBT)=61
4. IELTS=5

• He Must Have a Record of Good Conduct and Must Be Medically Fit.
• He Must Not Have Been Dismissed From Any University.
• A Female student must be accompanied by a relative who is within the prohibited degrees with a regular resident.

Scholarship Duration and Reward

King Abdulaziz University Scholarship in Saudi Arabia is a Full Free Scholarship for students from any part of the world. All the Expenses will be covered by the University.

• A Monthly Bursary Of Sr 900
• A Monthly Bursary Sr 1000 (A Research Assistant Without Summer Time ), the Contact Applies For One Semester Only Between The Deanship Of Graduate Studies And The Student And In Case Of The Two Parties’ Desire To Contract For Another Semester.

• A Preparation Allowance When Coming For The First Time Of Sr 1,800.
• The Candidate Would Receive The Health Care.
• Providing Accommodation And Facilities.
• Subsidized Meals Can Be Provided For The Candidate.
• A Total Sum Of Sr 4,000 For Ph.D., And Sr 3.000 For Masters’ Allowance For Printing The Thesis.
• An Allowance Of Sr 2,700 For Shipping Books (When Graduated).
